Federal University of Technology, Minna has joined other numerous sympathisers to mourn the demise of her former Vice – Chancellor, Prof. Muhammad Abdullahi Daniyan, who died on Friday, January 14, 2022 at IBB Specialized Hospital, Minna
The Vice – Chancellor, Prof Abdullahi Bala, fsssn who today, Sunday, January 16, 2022 led Council and Management of the University on a condolence to the deceased family disclosed that the University has lost a rare gentleman.
‘The life of a man has many phases but death is an inevitable end. of that life. It is not how long an individual lives but how well and we are very much aware of how well Professor Daniyan had lived, how much he has impacted on numerous people both in his personal capacity as a father, a friend, a mentor but also in his official capacity. Many of us here are beneficiaries of his benevolence’, Prof. Bala said.
He further stated that, ‘Allah knows best and only Allah knows when to call one back but Alhamdulilahi as far as we know, he has lived a good life and lived a virtuous life. The family and members of the community most be fully aware of his achievements in this life and we thank God. We cannot question Allah on what he has done but can only say Alhamdullilahi that the man left well. He has left a good name and legacy and we sympathise with the family and pray that may Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant. his soul peace.
