The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Minna Chapter has presented the Institute’s Book of Proceedings to the Vice- Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Professor Abdullahi Bala fsssn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presentation was made on Friday August 6, 2021 when members of the Institute led by her Vice-Chairman, Alhaji Kasim Ibrahim Badegi, paid a courtesy visit to the University Management at the Council Chamber, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano, Minna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his responses,the Vice-Chancellor who thanked the Institute over their visit and gift expressed happiness that the Bursar of the University Mrs Hadiza Goje, fcna, fcti is also a member of the Institute. He assured that the University will not take the issue of tax for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof Bala noted that the introduction of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) has made the issue of tax easier, since taxes are now deducted from source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking earlier, the Vice -Chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Badegi who was in company of other members, said they were in the University for a courtesy call and presentation of their book of
proceedings to the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He thanked the University Management for the warm reception accorded them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
