The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Federal University of Technology, Minna Branch, extended their congratulations to Mrs. Azumi Salamatu Ahmed Ndayako on her appointment as the Acting Registrar of the Federal University of Technology, Minna. This congratulatory visit took place today, Wednesday, 24 July 2024, at the Acting Registrar’s office, Main Campus.
During the visit, Acting Registrar Mrs. Azumi Salamatu Ahmed Ndayako expressed her gratitude for the warm wishes and recognized the association’s contributions in organizing workshops and training sessions for its members.
She expressed enthusiasm about ANUPA’s plan to conduct in-house training for the new staff of the Registry Department and emphasized the importance of mentorship by experienced staff to help new employees understand their roles and job boundaries.
In his speech, ANUPA Chairman Dr. Mohammed Dantala Nakaka officially congratulated Mrs. Ndayako on her new role and acknowledged her as the patron of ANUPA (FUT Minna Branch). He highlighted the association’s mission to continually train and retrain its members and sought the university’s support in sponsoring members for various professional development programs.
Dr. Nakaka also noted that while ANUPA has provided initial orientation for new staff, comprehensive in-house training is essential for them to fully grasp their responsibilities as administrators.
