Today, Monday, July 29, 2024, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, welcomed the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) team to the University at the Senate Chamber, Main Campus. The team is conducting a professional accreditation exercise for the Department of Architecture, School of Environmental Technology (SET).
In his welcome address, Prof. Kuta expressed gratitude to the ARCON team for their visit, highlighting the significance of the exercise in adding value and aiding the University in reassessing and enhancing its programs. He emphasized the University’s efforts in providing necessary resources, including a state-of-the-art studio, to support the growth and development of the Architectural program.
Arc. Dr. Ibrahim Sani Khalil, leading the ARCON team, remarked on their previous visit three years ago and the purpose of their current visit to ensure that the University’s provisions meet international standards for the Architectural program. He assured that the team would thoroughly inspect the facilities and report their findings and recommendations to the University Management.
