The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT, Minna ), Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to the implementation of the Federal Ministry of Education’s White Paper for the periods 2011–2015 and 2016–2020.
Prof. Kuta gave this assurance while receiving members of the Presidential Panel on a courtesy visit to the institution on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Academic Publishing Centre, Main Campus.
Welcoming the delegation, the Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a step towards strengthening institutional compliance and enhancing service delivery. He disclosed that FUT, Minna has constituted a committee, chaired by the Dean of Postgraduate School, Professor. M.A. Sa’idu, to assess the University’s level of compliance with the White Paper’s provisions.
The Chairman of the Panel, Mr. Gbenga Oderemi from the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, stated that the visit was aimed at evaluating the extent to which FUT, Minna has implemented the White Paper recommendations.
As part of their engagement, the Panel will meet with the University’s implementation committee and conduct an on-site assessment of key facilities.
Other members of the delegation included Mrs. Adingi Patricia and Mr. Muhammed Abdulkadir Shehu.
