The newly constituted Council of Elders of the Chapel of Grace, Federal University of Technology, Minna, led by its Chairman, Dr. John Adama of the Department of Animal Production has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Bala FSSSN and his management team.
The brief meeting took place recently at the Senate Chamber, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano.
The Chairman Dr. Adama appreciated the Vice Chancellor and his Management team for their support to the fellowship and Christian community at large.
He commended the Management on infrastructural development and security on campus even as he pleaded for more to be done on security.
Dr. Adama assured the Vice Chancellor of every support needed to take the University to a greater height.
Responding, Prof. Bala congratulated the new membership of Council and said their election was an evidence of the confidence that members of Chapel have on them. He further stated that with the personalities of the members of the Council he has no doubt that the council would do well. He prayed for God to grant them wisdom to lead the church with the fair of God so as to bring greater unity among the Christian community and the University at large.
On security matters, he said That FUT, Minna is not insulated from what is happening in the country but assured that the University would leave no stone unturned to protect the students and members of the community, noting that there are now more security operatives guarding the campus.
During the meeting, the new Council of Elders of the Chapel of Grace were introduced to the Management and the Chaplain, Rev. Oladeji Micheal Afolabi offered prayers for the University Management and the entire University Community..
