The Professional Women Accountants in Nigeria (PROWAN) has recognized Mrs. Hadiza Goje, Bursar of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) and Chairperson , Association of Bursars of the Nigeria Universities for her outstanding contributions to the accountancy profession in Nigeria.
Mrs. Goje, who holds multiple prestigious qualifications such as FCNA, FCTI, FCCFI, and FCCSA (USA), was presented with the Eminent Personality Award during a special event held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Art and Culture, Abuja.
The award ceremony, which included the Maiden Edition of Eminent Personality Lecture, celebrated her unwavering support for the advancement of accountancy in the country. Mrs. Goje delivered a lecture titled, “Emerging Technologies and the Future of the Accountancy Profession,” emphasizing the transformative role of technology in enhancing productivity. She highlighted key benefits of technology in the field, including improved decision-making, automation of tasks, enhanced accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
The event also saw other notable professionals being honored for their contributions to various sectors.
