The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) has been recognized as the 8th best university in Nigeria according to the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) ranking.
The global ranking, which was announced on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, during the Times Higher Education World Academic Summit in Manchester, UK, evaluates universities worldwide. This comprehensive annual ranking assessed over 2,000 institutions from 115 countries and territories.
The evaluation process considers several key performance indicators, including teaching quality, research environment, research impact, industry partnerships, and international outlook.
FUT, Minna’s strong position in the ranking reflects its dedication to academic excellence, cutting-edge research, and innovation, particularly in the fields of science, technology, and engineering.
