The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Minna Chapter has presented the Institute’s Book of Proceedings to the Vice- Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Professor Abdullahi Bala fsssn.
The presentation was made on Friday August 6, 2021 when members of the Institute led by her Vice-Chairman, Alhaji Kasim Ibrahim Badegi, paid a courtesy visit to the University Management at the Council Chamber, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano, Minna.
In his responses,the Vice-Chancellor who thanked the Institute over their visit and gift expressed happiness that the Bursar of the University Mrs Hadiza Goje, fcna, fcti is also a member of the Institute. He assured that the University will not take the issue of tax for granted.
Prof Bala noted that the introduction of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) has made the issue of tax easier, since taxes are now deducted from source.
Speaking earlier, the Vice -Chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Badegi who was in company of other members, said they were in the University for a courtesy call and presentation of their book of
proceedings to the University.
He thanked the University Management for the warm reception accorded them.
The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), is a Professional Organization in Nigeria whose members are certified as qualified tax practitioners or administrator.
