As the National Universities Commission exists it’s Accreditation visits to Federal University of Technology, Minna, between Wednesday 3rd December, 2021 and Friday 5th December,2021, the leaders of the accessors for both Architecture and Computer Science Departments are very pleased with the performance of the University Management.
The team Leaders to the Department of Architecture, Prof. C. B. Chukwali from Godfry University, Enugu and Department of Computer Science, Prof A.S. Sadiya from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAB) spoken extensivelly on the feats achieved during the exercise.
Prof. C. B. Chukwali mentioned out some criteria that were established as a rule during the accreditation exercise to accomplish the goal.
According to him the philosophy of the programmes contain that relationship between the students, their teachers, and their standards of participation in the examination system.
The Prof added that NUC as a body noted with care that the study environment is safe and fair enough for studies. More so, the standard of test and quality of examples given to students is of standard.
Finally, they called on the management of the university to make additional efforts to recruit more staff to the University so as to fill in to missing gaps and to give students additional opportunity to study and to equally renovate some of the study laboratories within the departments assessed.
On his part, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Professor Abdullahi Bala FSSS, who was practically happy with the reports of the panel expressed his gratitude to them for carrying out a good quality assessment of the University.
He therefore ensured that the institution will look into observations made by the panelists.
