The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Abdullahi Bala, fsssn has expressed appreciation to NUC Accreditation Teams for spending quality time in looking at eight programmes in the University, saying that their suggestions and recommendations have enriched the instituion.
Prof. Bala who stated this during an exit meeting held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Senate Chamber, Main Campus, assured the teams that the Management would work on issues raised by them.
“Looking at your observations and suggestions it is very impressive that in less than 24 hours you have been able to achieve this much. This shows the level of diligence that has been put into the work. We thank you and have taken note of all the suggestions and recommendations, ” the Vice-Chancellor said.
He further assured that Management would within available resources address areas of need identified
Speaking earlier, the team leaders to the eight programmes assessed expressed appreciation to the University Management for their hospitality which made their stay in Minna comfortable and work easy.
The programmes and their team leaders are Estate Management and Evaluation, Prof. M. O Bello; Federal University of Technology, Akure; Civil Engineering , Prof. Gbenga Aribisala, Ekiti State Univeristy, Ekiti; Quantity Surveying, Prof. Oliver Ojinnaka, University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Agric & Bioresources Engineering, Prof. Ike Ouka, Enugu State University; Material & Metallurgical Engineering, Prof. Aniedi O. Ette, Akwa Ibom State University; Urban and Regional Planning, Prof. M. B Yunusa, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; Building, Prof. Job O. Fredrick, University of Jos and Industrial and Technology Education, Prof. Yaduma, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
